AND THE WINNERS OF THE 5TH HALLOWEEN MEMES/GIFS COMPETITION ARE...

Today the winners of the 5th Halloween memes/gifs Competition received their prizes. There was also a little treat for all the participants. 🎃🎃🎃

BEST MEME

Paula Martínez - 2nd Bachillerato

Because it combines all the elements we asked for: IES Selgas, the Halloween spooky look, and something quite usual at the beginning of any English lesson 😉!

BEST GIF

Cleo Le Saos - 2nd ESO

The reason? What can we say... We feel totally identified with this gif! When Halloween is near we, teachers at the English Department, become a bit crazy, like these dancing skeletons 😆!

And here you have the winners, Cleo and Paula 👏👏!
 Hope you liked the presents!

We want to thank all participants, who also got some nice treats. Not all of them are in the photo, it seems it was a busy break today at school.

Wish you a terrific long Halloween weekend!

THE OHIO PROJECT VIDEO

Once upon a time in Selgas there was a lovely language assistant called Hannah Griswold. One of her former teachers at the North Olmstead High School in Ohio suggested that Hannah's Spanish students could make a video showing what their school is like and the teacher and students in the 3rd Year ESO bilingual class didn't hesitate to accept the challenge.

Even though we've had much fun (some more than others ;)), it hasn't been a bed of roses. Ask Matthew Harvey!😅 Anyway, if you want to check it out, click on the picture below.

We look forward to getting a reply from the students at North Olmstead High School.
