STARTER UNIT - VERBAL TENSES (2ND BACH)

As you will probably remember, I always insist on the importance of knowing everything about verbal tenses once you get to 2nd bach. They are essential for many other contents seen all throughout the school year: passive voice, reported speech, conditionals... So, practising them is always a good idea. That's what I want you to do with this post.

The first thing you should do is go to OneDrive and revise all the presentations we saw in class related to verbal tenses. At the end of each, you will find specific practice for those tenses in particular. The following links can also help:

For those who may have difficulties with this topic, I suggest you have a look at this page that has the explanations in Spanish. It also has plenty of exercises:

Once that you have revised and practised them, you will be ready to do exercises of mixed tenses. You will find loads of them on the following link:

Hope you find all this useful!

LISTENING PRACTICE 2nd BACH

Practising your listening skills when not going to school is one of the easiest things for you: nowadays you can find lots of activities online and the best thing about them is that you can do them at your own pace, stopping the recording, listening to it as many times as you need...Apart from that, listening to music in English or watching films or TV series in English is also available to all of you right now.

However, to remind you of the importance of this skill, I will also post specific listening activities that you should do.

Let's start with this one, in which  Anna Oliveira, the creator and founder of "HomeworX",   an app which helps teenagers with their homework, explains how it works. You may find nice tips now that you have to work on your own most of the time 😉!
