A BOOK REVIEW (4th ESO) - THIRD TERM SPEAKING

BILINGUAL GROUP

As we have agreed in class, this term, each student is going to choose the book in English he/she wants to read. I think that you will enjoy it much more if it is a  book you are really looking forward to reading. However, you can also read any adapted version (minimum level 4th ESO or B1) or even the book recommended by the department: The curious case of Benjamin Button (Ed. Burlington Books - Activity Series).

Once you finish reading it, you will have to make a presentation about it, but using a new app, VOICETHREAD, that allows you to record your voice, upload music, videos, etc. I'll show you an example in class.

You can find information about how to use it in this tutorial:

VOICETHREAD TUTORIAL

And here you have the necessary elements your presentation should include:

A BOOK REVIEW RUBRIC

NON-BILINGUAL GROUP

You also have to read a book and record a presentation about it, using the app VOICETHREAD and the tutorial. The book you have to read is the one recommended by the Department for the level:

Channel to the Future, by Sandra Sherwood (Ed. Burlington Books; Activity Series).

Here you have the rubric I am going to use to assess your presentation:

The deadline to send your voicethreads is 10th May. Remember that meeting deadlines is important 😉!!!
