This woman is... International Women's Day 8th March

Every year we try to make our students reflect on what they can do to make gender  equality something real. 

This year we wanted them to focus on something they, and probably most of us, take for granted: what many women in our lives have done, normally in an unnoticed way, for us. 

We asked them to prepare some cards about an important woman in their lives and explain why these women mean so much for them. 

You will find many moving stories, full of love and dedication to others. You will also notice that grandmas are the most mentioned... quite curious, isn't it?

The original cards have been sent to the "Asociación de Mujeres SANTANA", which is going to prepare an exhibition to celebrate International Women's Day. Hope they like our small contribution. 

Again, we want to thank all the students who took part in the activity. You are the ones who will make the future a better one and participating in this type of activities may help you with it.
