Do you have a crush on someone? Have you celebrated Saint Valentine's Day?
The expression "to have a crush on someone" means that you like that person very much in a romantic way and probably would like him/her to be your Valentine:
Elvis Presley was a massive star of his time; he was so popular that many young women had a crush on him.
In a completely different context "crush" means "to press something very hard so that it is broken or its shape is destroyed":
His arm was badly crushed in the car accident.
